I use bookmarks a loot and they are really crucial to my work process but I have this problem I haven't yet been able to find a workaround to:
some folders are so important to me that I want to access them with "ctrl+d" and a letter. Now one of these folders is "vtemp" which is a kind of constant temporary folder for me that I work with continuously... and have been doing so for many years in windows and linux... problem is I can't use "v" because that takes me to "virtual filesystem" ... thsoe items at the tops of the bookmark migh be cool, but I can't control them in any way, not even via bookmark manager... so they uqite annoy me because they grab 4 letters of the alphabet and I can't give them lower priority (I went so far with this technique that I'm willing to cut good names in strange ways just so that I can have only one letter for some jumps... like I don't even have to hit enter or antyhign, juct ctrl+d and then the letter)
...
would it please be possible to somehow make it so I can give a kind of high priority to some bookmarks so I can use them as fast as that and that those default elemtnes in the bookmarks don't get in the way (eg a way to disable them from the search, similarly for the ones at the bottom of the list)
thanks in advance,
hoping to help a lil in pushing Krusader one step further at a time into the productivity enhancer that it is and can be even more. |

i think the best solution is to remove the keyboard shortcuts from the default elements.
i'll try to do that _________________ Shie Erlich

i ended up reordering the menu, so that user bookmarks are on top and thus
take the higher priority _________________ Shie Erlich

Hi,
Beside this problem, for me there is two other little annoyances with the bookmarks manager...
First problem is when I try to bookmark a path with spaces. Krusader return this kind of result in the name of the bookmark:
file:/home/user/dir%20with%20spaces
So every time I need to edit the bookmark name to 'dir with spaces' (to remove '%20' and because I want the name of the bookmark to be only the name of the directorie).
Second problem is with accents, trying to bookmark 'dir with acçênts' and Krusader returns this:
file:/home/user/dir%20with%20ac%E7%EAnts
This time I need to type the name because, as you can see, the bookmark name is useless this way.
Thanks,
