After installing Kubuntu 9.10 the first thing was to install Krusader. It works but any confirmations (for e.g. copy, mkdir, ...) are always nearly fullscreen, which is quite disturbing.
I've found within the settings nothing to change this strange behaviour.

Additionaly the same seems to happen with the "start-screen" (don't know what it is called) after starting krusader, before the windows opens, which is also nearly fullscreen and showes tiled 4x4 times the "start-screen"

Hope someone can help me as the behaviour at the moment is really quite disturbing.

Hi,

I just installed KUbuntu 9.10 from scratch and I don't have any problem.
Probably something is wrong with your screen settings or video driver configuration.
Probably other applications on your computer have also screen problems, and not only Krusader.

Maybe a problem wit Xorg? Reed next tread for more information:

The problem is still existing, am i the only user who has this problem.
No other application has nearly similar problems, just the krusader.

I'm not sure the next will help, but you can always try it.
Maybe the krusaderui.rc file contains some wrong settings.
If you want to keep your Krusader settings, than backup krusaderui.rc first before deleting it!
Close Krusader, delete the krusaderui.rc file (it contains the Krusader configuration) with an other application, and than start Krusader.
~/.kde/share/apps/krusader/krusaderui.rc
