Hi, i am a very new KDE user, so please spare with me if this is common knowledge.
I have been trying to set Krusader as my default filemanager in KDE, as it is much more powerful than Dolphin and also as a brainchild of Norton Commander in the DOS days, and Midnight Commander later (even now) i am very convinient with the way such file managers work.
Although i haven't really dived into Krusader yet and still use MC, i have stumped into an issue thats been bugging me a lot.
If i set Krusader as the default file manager in System Settings, whenever i mount a device and the device notifier shows up when i select the device to be mounted, an instance of Krusader is started but the device never shows up mounted there. In fact Krusader isnt started at all. The process soon dies, along with my dreams of not having to deal with dolphin.
While asking around, i was told to make a custom action in the Device Actions menu for that. But i still havent managed to accomplish that.
Could be just me, but doing that is far from what i would call simple.
I would appreciate it if someone could give some pointers on how to do that. Is it possible? Or is it a matter of device notifier improvement?
Thanks.

This tip works well, I checked "single instance mode", but it opens a second instance of Krusader. Is it possible to run a folder in a panel instead of a second instance ?

I confirm that its just like skogkatt says it.
Also if you change the command adding --left or --right the icon in the KDE menu changes to "Unknown" displaying a questionmark (?) instead of the Krusader one.
